A fashion show a week - Elie Saab spring 15

When one looks at the collection of the looks of Elie Saab spring collection - Look by look - You might feel like something is out of place.
You can distinctly tell that there's several directions. Mixed in with each other - and yet - everything tends to mesh well.
The young vibe that the collection offers is clear; Bomber Jackets, blue-pink and red theme along side some classic black with a splash of romantic slightly boho - white.

The general feel for me at least - is these wonderfully crafted dresses - that horns some of the well known trends - and yet - I don't feel as if I've seen it all before. At least not like this and this well done. 

 Classic white - slight boho feel gown. not your average boho dress. 

Although the main direction Elie Saab is known for - is gown and evening wear - this look, Featuring the candy bomber is something that a girl could differently wear around town and I have a strong feeling that this is going to be a popular look from the show. meaning it would also be copied over and over. 

More candy colors - and I would totally love to have every single piece here - 

Perfect for the teen choice award?

 And last - black but not boring. Not for everyone but for the right young star - on the red carpet - It would make a statement. 

A show a week: Tom ford ss16

I have to say that I really like this. 

I did start off a hater. "I'm not going to like this video. It's not going to be any good."

But it was good.

I love Bollywood as I've said many times on my blog. and the reason for that is the good music and the fun clothes. and For this tom ford show-Video - I think that that's exactly what TF achieved. good music that makes you move - and fun cloths.

well done.

The one from the launching of the first Plus size magazing in Israel

The launching of the first plus size magazine in Israel - was a pretty cool event to go to. 

Lots of pretty people - hosted at the Dpahna levinson store, and oreo cookies. 

Offering plus size Women a different image to look at rather then just the size 0 we got so accustom to. Especially when you consider that most women are are a size 12 and up. 

On the off side - There's 2 things that do sadden me. The first been that fact that only now -in 2015 these magazines are finally showing up. The other been - the sad fact the plus size women in magazines - are not the plus size in life. So - there's still so much to change in the image that we see. I think that for the most part - that's why I love this day in age - and the sheer fact that you can decide which media to consume - and  which to create. allowing everybody to have a say - and blogs been one of the things that truly define people's opinion in 2015. 

the fact that you don't have to be a rich media mogul in order to put out something like images of bigger women or an opinion on a product that might not get exposure ells where. 

I hope that this is part of the movement that still had ways to go.

The one that got all the complements

I Wore this dress to the lunching of the first plus size magazine in Israel. The event took place at one of my current favorites designers - So Simple By Daphna Levinson. 

The dress Is the dress that was sitting in my wish list (and on my mind) for the longest time. And when I got a birthday gift card in may from my sister - that was the sign, Of course - My birthday was in may. But I had to get this dress - and the time and place - were to be determined. 

The complements that I received that evening and the next day when posting my #Ootd on my FB fashion groups were the sign - that I've hit that golden ratio.... not only did I feel like a fairy - but I looked fashionable and good. 

The flow of the dress - the fact that it's long on me... was perfect. I felt amazing. And this was the perfect opportunity to wear the dress - making sure that the whole look - was just right. 

People liked the dress - but also said that I LOOK GOOD. which is just as great. 

I was lucky. I was in the mood to to a Get ready with me video. :) 

The video is also a proud moment for me. I'm a small YouTuber - and I teach my self how to edit - getting a feel for what's right and the right length of videos. this is definitely one of my favorite videos of mine. 

A model for a day {Hebrew Post}

אם חוזרים אחורה, אבל מאוד אחורה, אפשר למצוא בלוג פוסט כל כך ישן שהוא פורסם בגלגול הקודם של הבלוג, בבית שלי בתפוז. 

פיפה היא יבואנית בגדים במידות 42-56, כאשר הדגש הוא על האתר ברשת. או לפחות לכאורה. לאחרונה נפתח סניף חדש לחנות, ואין יותר תירוצים של פחד מהזמנות ברשת. 

לפיפה יש הצעה ייחודית. פעם בכמה זמן הם מעלים הצעה בדף הפייסבוק שלהם: מבין כל אלה שיכתבו, גם אני רוצה להיות דוגמנית לפיפה ליום, בעלת החנות, מיכל הראל, ביחד עם בעלה ושותפה, נבחרות מספר בחורות שזוכות לקבל טיפול שיער, איפור ולהצטלם. עם כל האפקט והזוהר. 

אצל פיפה אפשר למצוא חלוקה ל-2:

הייבוא שמגיע בטווח מידות מכל דגם, והוינטאג'. אני דגמתי אחד מכל ליין. כשעל השמלה הפרחונית לגמרי המשכתי לרייר ואני עדיין שוקלת לחזור ולרכוש אותה. הייחודי בוינטאג' הוא העובדה שיש אחד מכל סוג. לכן גם החשש שלי שאולי הפסדתי את השמלה המדהימה. 

הורודה בייבי פודרה. הייתה בחירה לא מפתיעה בשבילי. כדי להימנע מהבעיה השגרתית שלי של גלגלים מתחת לחזייה, שנובעת מהמבנה גוף שלי, עליתי מידה. השמלה ישבה חלק ויפה, ואני מתה על האורך שלה שבהחלט מדגיש את אחד החלקים שאני הכי אוהבת. 

תכל'ס, מי לא רוצה להרגיש כמו דוגמנית ליום אחד? 

הרעיון הזה לארגן את הימי צילומים התעורר אצל מיכל לטענתה אחרי שהזמינה את שמרית מוסקוביץ' להצטלם ביום מיוחד לבלוגריות אופנה. "את שמרית אני מכירה כבר כמה שנים והיא מסוג הנשים האלו שנכנסות לך ללב" אומרת מיכל בגילוי לב. "במשך הזמן שמתי לב ששמרים לובשת רק ג'ינסים וחולצות מסוג מאוד מסויים ואמרתי לה בעדינות שאני חושבת שהיא יכולה לגוון במעט את הבגדים אותם היא לובשת בדר"כ ואולי אפילו לנסות ללבוש שמלה". 

בהתחלה שמרית התנגדה. אבל היום אפשר להכריז בריש גלי, ומידיעה אישית, ששמרית היא אושיה  מוכרת מאוד בקבוצות האופנה השונות בפייסבוק והיא לובשת המון שמלות. 

באירוע של גאלה רחמלוביץ', מספר נשים נכנסו לי לזוית הראיה ולא הפסקתי לבהות בהם. שמרית הייתה אחת מהן. 

בגלל שליום הצילומים הנוכחי, הוזמנו מספר רב של בנות, גם הוזמנו בהתאם מספר רב של מאפרות לעדה לזורגן. 

הגעתי למקום ומצאתי את מיכל וזמן קצר לאחר מכן, נראתי כנראה כמו שה אובד. ניגשה אלי מאפרת, ששאלה אותי אם אני מחכה להתאפר, ועניתי שכנראה. 

מה שנקרא - זכיתי. על האיפור שלי הופקדה שרה, ולהגיד שאני מרוצה זה בלשון המעטה. אני ממש אוהבת את המראה ומבסוטית מהמראה המעושן, כמו גם המראה של העור עצמו. 

אין לי אלא להגיד לכן שמדובר במאפרות מהסוג שמסתכלות עליך ובוחנות את תווי הפנים תוך כדי העבודה, אבל הן מייד יודעות מה הן הולכות לעשות. הן פשוט רואות את זה בדימיון שלהן והמוצלחות שביניהן יודעות גם ליישם את החזון. 

רק מילים חמות יש לי להגיד בנושא.

The one with the plus size confidence

One of the things that I often get asked about is the Confidence thing. Growing up big, and being one since I was 10 - It clearly had to have had an influence about my development. 

I also grew up in a religious background - in which girls do not wear pants. Little alone shorts. In recent years we've seen that women are wearing more and more shorts. And for some teen girls this is a real issue - as to how short can a short short be. 

A lot of times when I have a new client or just speak to another women over a certain size - they actually fear dresses. Since they grew up avoiding them - because everyone told then to avoid them since they are fat. (even if they were really not fat). 

That always seems odd to me for 2 reason; 

a. As I said I never feared dresses since I wore them. 

b. In all most any case - dresses look better then pants. 

But fear and the lack of confidence seems to be a thing that women, especially with some body issues (and size is not a factor - but it does contribute to it) - have to deal with. 

For me that fear was shorts. And the more I wear them - the more I love it. 

It's not just about being comfortable - but also about doing something that some people don't think that I should be doing - since I'm fat. 

And that's why - As simple is wearing short is suppose to be - every time I wear a pair I feel like screaming to the world: 

"Suck it!"
