Just shake it off - Because the haters gonna hate

The other day I taught one of my third graders how to shake it off. I'm clearly favorite some of my students and I know that it's the ones that have it hard - the ones that find it hard to cool themselves down and to calm down. 

I thought him how to "shake it off". Literally. I told it to shake his hands and to let it go. Whatever that might be. Letting him know also - that If I'm in the school and he asks his teacher he could always join me in another class. Basically giving him a chance to get away from the girl that gets him all willed up. 

I was thinking about this the other day and how I've changed and how it's the local blogsphere that also had to do with it. Bloggers can be very mean to each other. That said - I've met some wonderful people and my best friends right now are from this very connection. 

I just needed to figure it out. 

And then - I learned how to shake it off.

I love people and writing and fashion. I feel like all tough people tend to be competitive in life - especially the smart and ambitious ones - you can still get along with people and even dare I say - give the love. In Hebrew there's a word for it - it's called "Firgun". To give love from the heart. A kind of compliment. 

And I try to do this as much as I can, even giving credit to someone who was far from been nice to me, But the fact remains that she's very good at what shed does, even if we will probably never be bff's.

That and trying my hardest not to gossip. That how ever is still very hard for me - so that gives my something ells to work on. :-) 

The one in casual

It was a Friday and a Fellow photographer and I decided to get together and take some photos. With some Nightwish and metal music in the background we had some sunny fun indoors while it was totally rainy outside. 

I've always been envious with those amazing top ranking fashion bloggers who have their own photographer. I guess it has a lot to do with the whole fantasy... I've admitted from the beginning that blogging has a lot to do for me with my desire to model. So a photographer is part of that.

When I picked my 3 (plus 3 extra) outfits for the shot I wanted for a big verity and some how the 2 chosen outfits for the blog where the most basic- Casual kind of outfits. 

I'm happy that my kitty vest made it in - been who I am it so a part of me. :-) little touches of kitties all around. 

But jeans.... Who would have thought? Me? Jeans? 

This, most basic peace of clothing is always been a challenge for me. Not sitting just right I often opt for the skirt or the always easy - Dress.

I guess that's what I love about these pictures. The fact is - that these are simple but still me. still very much me. even in jeans. 

A Fashion show a week: Moschino ss15: Going the full Barbie

"Moschino ss15 is wearable. Rather you go the full barbie or just pick up a purse shaped like a boombox you can wear it - and you should. It puts the fun back into Fashion".

I'll start with 2 confessions;

The first is that I played with barbies till I was 14. Something that for me is a symbol of staying a kid for as long as reality let us back then.

The other is that I'm a feminist. Without getting into a long monologue about this - I'll just say that I believe in the fact the women are still being used, abused and taken advantage of - and that is something that means that we still have more to do. 

Been a feminist and loving today's fashion world is hard enough. But loving Barbie? That's something that I could keep to myself - my guilty pleasure in some ways. But Moschion's show and my love for everything Barbie about it - meant I could not keep this to myself any longer. 

The big hair (which was mostly blonde), the Barbie-pink, large accessories, the colored simple pointed pumps, the richness, the over-the-top outfits, the printed "Moschino" logo in such a way that automatically thought about the "Barbie" logo packaging that some of my own barbies came in - and of course the skates. 

I tend to gravitated towards fashion (even on the run-way) that is wearable, and I'm sure that some people are wondering why then - I'm I all about this fashion show and these outfits. Well. In my own little opinion - Fashion shows are Fun. And Fashion itself is even more fun. It's hard for me and has always been - to be more wearable like. Personally I would love to wear ball gowns at least some of the time, And the truth is, that while for most of the people I work with - it's about injecting color and fun into their clothes - for me, it's a challenge to tone it down. 

But Moschino ss15 is wearable. Rather you go the full Barbie or just pick up a purse shaped like a boombox you can wear it - and you should. It puts the fun back into Fashion. 

Love it - Wear it - Celebrate it. 

As far as I'm concern this is one of the more  wearable looks. Even as-is. Maybe toning it down with black pumps but loving the Bright pink trimming on the jeans and a pink clutch to really make it pop.

Loving the yellow and orange pump. I think My shoe obsession might have started with barbie. I still believe that I need a shoe in every color, and especially the bright colors!

Going the Full Barbie. Not for people off the runway. 

 This part of show - gives us one of my favorite color combo for 2 years now - black and gold. making almost every single piece - wearable. something to pick up and use. 

Kinda of looks like Gaga - doesn't it?

Another outfit that can be worn as-is. love the twist on that old time classic print of the blue and white rope- sailor looking print. love the gold. and the fact that for me - this is an outfit for day-time. (minus the big hair). 

Another piece that I would love to own myself. love macs and every single accessory here - from the shoes to the scarf to the sunglasses. 

The peace for the over-the-top-not-for-an-average-women-to-wear - makes me believe that the designer actually owned at some point as a child a mermaid barbie. My sister had this purple one with purple-red hair. and the tale looked just like this! 

I know that you could also get a pink and a blue one that had this type of fabric. the folds and the shimmering effect are so on point!

SHOPPINGIL - חגיגת קניות און ליין

אני תמיד מדברת רבות על קניות און ליין. בתור מי שעוסקת בזה החל משנת 2005, וחובבת אסוס דגולה שכמותי, אין ספק שקניות ברשת, זה אחד מהדברים שאני הכי אוהבת.
בתקופה הזו של השנה, עד ינואר למעשה, הרבה אתרים אמריקאים/אנגליים/בינלאומיים, פוצחים במבצעים בהשראת תקופת החגים הנוצרית. הדבר יוצר באזז מטורף ולפעמים ההנחות גובלות בטירוף (אבל לא תמיד....).

גוגל ישראל החליטו שהגיע הזמן שגם אתרים ישראליים יזכו לקצת אהבה ולכבוד כך הוזמנו חבורה של בלוגרים ויוטוברים למשרדי גוגל. אחרי שהאכילו אותנו (אני הסתפקתי בקאפקייק ולחמניה... :-P) ופגשנו את ג'ייק מ- vsouce, שוחררנו הבייתה עם הרבה התלהבות.

לעוד 30 שעות (הפוסט פורסם באיחור, פויה מירי!), תוכלו להנות ממבצעים שונים בכל כך הרבה אתרים שכבר לא היה לי מושג איך לדבר על הכל....

אין כמו תחילת עונה להתחדש בכמ הפריטים חדשים.
אז לא שיש לי בעיה להרכיב וויש ליסט, אבל הפעם בחרתי להצטצמצם ולהראות לכם בחירות ספיצפיות.

בצורה לא מפתיעה בכלל, קסטרו נורא בולטת וקופצת לי. אז הנה הקרדיגן הזה שפשוט צורח לי. וגם במידות פחות "מתירניות" הוא עדיין יעבוד. חגורה סביב המותן כדי להזכיר לעולם שיש לנו מותן, ויש לכם הופעה שביחד עם גופייה שחורה וטייץ/מכנס שחור מתחת עובדת יופי.

את חווית הקניות שלי מקסטרו כבר שיתפתי בהזמנה. :-) ואני אכן מרוצה.

והתיק הזה!!! אני ממש, אבל ממש רוצה את התיק הזה!!!!

The one from Rosh - HaShana! (The Jewish new years!)

2 days and Followed by Shabat - this year it's a nice long weekend in Israel. taking time off work - and for most people it's a family time. it's just the 3 of us this year - while my siblings are spending time at their own in-laws - but it means that it's a quiet time here. not a bad thing in it self. 

I'm completely swamped these days. after this summer's war - my test's were re-scheduled. for the end of this month - together with writing the biggest paper of my law school studies. It's actually something I'm very proud about - but I wish I had more time in order to do a better job. 

Both of my beauty channels are doing ok. trying to keep up with 2 if not 3 videos a week. growing nicely. but my focus is to finish all my school obligations right now. 

This dress is such a favorite of mine. I try to wear it as much as I can justify. even with the same shoes here. it's a midi length so it's a little tricky - but wearing heels definitely help "fix" the problem.
